Retired CRPF Official Murders Daughter For Marrying Class 12 Pass-Out: Police News24 –


A retired CRPF official killed his 24-year-old MBBS daughter for marrying a class 12 pass-out in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon. The retired officer was harbouring a grudge against her daughter over her decision. The police revealed the reason during the probe. 

Mangle shot dead his daughter

The accused, Kiran Mangle, shot dead his daughter Tripti Wagh, and seriously injured her husband, Avinash Wagh. Mangle used his licensed revolver in the crime. Kiran and his son Nikhil reached the venue where the Haldi ceremony of Avinash’s sister was taking place in Chopda tehsil of the state. 

People thrashed Mangle

The people gathered for the ceremony attacked Mangle and brutally thrashed him after the incident. He was admitted to the hospital and put on ventilator support. 

Police arrested Tripti’s brother

The police arrested Tripti’s brother Nikhil. Tripti’s husband was also admitted to a Pune-based hospital for treatment. Upon receiving a complaint from Avinash’s mother, the police registered an FIR under various sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Man held in Amritsar with pistols

Punjab Police’s Counter-Intelligence unit in Amritsar arrested a man and recovered five illegal pistols allegedly supplied through cross-border networks, officials said.

The accused, identified as Jodhbir Singh, a resident of Naushera in Tarn Taran district, was apprehended following a specific intelligence input, said the Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) in a post on X.

Police recovered five pistols from Singh’s possession, including two PX5 pistols, one .30 bore pistol (Star marked), and two 9mm Glock pistols.
