20-Year-Old Boy Shoots Girl In Bhatinda, Dies By Suicide Later; Probe Underway News24 –

Punjab: In a recent shocking case of suspected murder-suicide that took place in Punjab’s Bhatinda, a 20-year-old boy reportedly shot and killed a girl before committing suicide. According to Bhatinda SP Narinder Singh, the accused man, identified as Hitesh, was a resident of Ganganagar. He initially shot the girl on May 3 in the Parasram Nagar area, a locality in Bhatinda.

Victim Dies At Hospital

The 17-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died during treatment. On the other hand, when the police arrived at the crime spot, they discovered taken Hitesh had taken his life. SP Singh told ANI, “Both Hitesh and the girl knew each other and studied in Ganganagar. The girl was a resident of Bathinda.” Following the incident, Canal Colony Police registered an FIR for murder against Hitesh and launched a thorough probe.

School Teacher Dies By Suicide In Nuh

In yet another shocking incident that took place on Saturday in Haryana’s Nuh district, a school teacher allegedly died by suicide by consuming poison at a government secondary school. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the crime scene and found an eight-page suicide note. The teacher held her colleagues at the school responsible in the note. Serious allegations were levelled against at least eight teachers, Police said.

The deceased, identified as Jaipal, was a native of Majra village in Rewari, Haryana. He was employed as a junior basic teacher in the school, located at Khori Khurd village. According to reports, there was an ongoing conflict between him and a few other teachers over some kind of arrangements on the school campus. Unfortunately, Jaipal succumbed during treatment after consuming a poisonous substance.
