‘Dil Se Khush Hoon’ — Wife Of Arunachal Soldier Slain In Pahalgam Urges PM To Eliminate All Terrorists News24 –

Hours after India launched a counter-attack in Pakistan – Operation Sindoor, targeting terror sites in the country, the wife of late IAF Corporal Tage Hailyang, martyred in the Pahalgam attack, appealed to the Central Government to eliminate all terrorists. Smt. Charo Khamhua Tage, from Arunachal Pradesh, in a video message, said, “I am happy that the Indian armed forces targeted terrorists’ camps. I request the Indian Government to eliminate all terrorists so that innocent lives are not lost again.”

Recalling the tragic incident, she stated, “My husband was also a victim of the Pahalgam terror attack. We could have escaped from the place if he and I had wanted. But he, being a defence personnel, was helping others. It was during that time that the terrorists came and shot him in front of me.” Meanwhile, Tage Taka, the martyred soldier’s elder brother, who is also with the Indian Army, said he was confident that the PM Modi-led government would avenge the innocent deaths.

“But we are sad that the terrorists, who took innocent lives at Pahalgam, are still at large. My father, Tage Tade, wants the government to trace the terrorists who killed his son and the others. He says he will get peace only after they are eliminated,” TNIE quoted Taka as saying. Hailyang (30), who was posted in Srinagar, married Charo Khamhua Tage last December. They were in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, enjoying their vacation, when the deadly terror attack unfolded.

Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people, including several tourists from Maharashtra. The situation was constantly monitored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi throughout the night, as per sources. All nine targets were successfully struck, sources further added. Indian forces selected the targets with the intent of eliminating top Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) leaders involved in planning and executing terrorist attacks in India.
