Army Veteran KJS Dhillon Mocks Pakistan With ‘Drone Pakoras’, Cheers India’s Air Defence Success News24 –
India is a country, where patriotism runs deep in the hearts of its people. It is a nation, where retired Army Personnel step forward, expressing their will to wear the uniform again and return to the battlefield. Amid the India-Pakistan tensions, several veterans of Indian Armed forces have come forward to boost the morale of soldiers, laud their efforts in Operation Sindoor, and bash Pakistan for its lies and unfounded claims regarding Indian Army.
One such veteran is Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon (Retd), PVSM, UYSM, YSM, VSM. In an X post, KJS Dhillon took a dig at Pakistan by sharing a picture of Pakoras (fritters) shaped like drones. His post targeted drones fired by Pakistan over the past few days following Operation Sindoor, all of which were successfully intercepted by the Indian Armed forces. KJS Dhillon pointed out at Pakistan’s failure and its limitations of missile systems. He wrote, “Drone Pakoras, A new snack in Air Defence Regiments. Jai Hind.”
Through his post, Dhillon lauded the success of Air Defence Regiments in intercepting every drone fired from Pakistan. His post comes after Pakistan violated ceasefire on Saturday, despite achieving an understanding on stopping of all firing and military action on land and in the air and sea with effect from 5:00 PM.

Following the violation, MEA briefing by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri was held late night. He confirmed that Pakistan had violated the ceasefire and condemned it. “An understanding was reached this evening between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan to stop the military action that was going on for the last few days. For the last few hours, this understanding is being violated by Pakistan. The Indian Army is retaliating and dealing with this border intrusion. This intrusion is extremely condemnable and Pakistan is responsible for it. We believe that Pakistan should understand this situation properly and take appropriate action immediately to stop this intrusion,” Misri said in a briefing.
