The Delhi Police arrested two men for allegedly robbing a government school teacher. The incident took place in the Burari area of the national capital.
Accused made the teacher unconscious
According to Lokmat Times, the accused made the teacher unconscious by spraying a chemical before robbing him. The police said the teacher was robbed on May 8. The police further said that four men approached the primary school teacher on Pusta Road sprayed a chemical on him, and made him unconscious. They fled on the teacher’s bike, along with his wallet and mobile phone.
The police registered a case and started examining CCTV footage to track the accused. The police apprehended two persons after their appearances matched the description provided.
Delhi Police detain 13 illegal Bangladeshi immigrants
In a separate incident, Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has detained 13 Bangladeshi nationals, including five children, for allegedly residing in India without valid documentation. The individuals were apprehended from village Auchandi in the national capital.
According to DCP Crime, Aditya Gautam, “The detained individuals entered India through unfenced agricultural fields along the India-Bangladesh border and later reached Delhi via Cooch Behar railway station. They reportedly worked as casual labourers in a brick kiln in Kharkhoda, Haryana.”
Police initiated the process for their deportation
The detained individuals include Md. Rafikul (50), Khoteza Begum (41), Md. Anowar Hussain (37), Md. Aminul Islam (28), Zorina Begum (27), Afroza Khatun (25), Md. Khakhon (20), Hasna (19), and five children.
The Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has initiated the process for their deportation. The agency is working to identify and apprehend the agent, Zalil Ahmad, who allegedly helped them cross the border.
