YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s Video Hints At Spying? Reports Claim Her ‘Intimate Relationship’ With Pakistani Intelligence Agent News24 –

Jyoti Malhotra, the Hisar-based YouTuber arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan, frequented the Islamic nation and attended an Iftar party event at the Pakistan High Commission, according to her Instagram posts. Malhotra was also posting in praise of Pakistan and deemed Lahore the “Culture heart of Pakistan” in one social media post.

As reported By Mint, in one of the videos, the 33 year-old is shown meeting with Pakistani High Commission official Ehsan-ur-Rahim, who is also called Danish. Rahim was reportedly told to leave India in 24 hours because he was declared persona non grata for being an alleged spy and leaking classified information related to Indian Army troop movements. The videos also show Malhotra speaking with Rahim’s wife; her ease with the couple indicates she had spent time with them on multiple occasions and was close with them.

The video, posted on March 30 last year, starts with Malhotra stating she had been invited to the Iftar party – and going into the High Commission and commenting that the decorations are “superb.”

She greets Rahim with much enthusiasm, asking how he is inquiring how he is and stating how wonderful it is to see him again. A man – whose face is never shown, but who is presumed to be Rahim – introduces her to other officials, mentioning that she runs the YouTube channel Travel With Jo.

While describing the atmosphere inside the High Commission to her viewers, Malhotra expressed her excitement in both Hindi and English “I am mesmerised. I have no words. I am excited, super duper excited. Bhaisahab, main to hil gayi (I am so impressed).”

Jyoti Malhotra’s Affective Involvement

The Haryana based vlogger was in an effective involvement with a Pakistani intelligence operative and had travelled to Bali with him. Investigators have confirmed that Jyoti was in contact with Pakistani intelligence operatives through encrypted applications like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat, to avoid being tracked. To camouflage their identities, she saved their names under fake identities – one of her handlers, Shakir, is saved in her phone as “Jatt Randhawa”, Times of India stated.

Connections Of Jyoti Malhotra With Pakistan

Police sources reveal that Jyoti was first introduced to a Pakistani official called Ehsan-ur-Rahim, Ali Danish at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi in 2023. He also reportedly helped her gain an extension of her Pakistani Visa, found housing for her, and introduced her to intel operatives, including Shakir and Rana Shahbaz, as reported by Mint.

“She has confessed to sharing sensitive information related to Indian locations and to visiting Pakistan more than four times, including twice in 2023,” said DSP Singh. “She also travelled with one of the operatives to Bali and had an intimate relationship with him.”

Her electronic belongings were taken, including her mobile phone and laptop, and her finances are also being reviewed to find any money trail. Although Jyoti’s family resides in Hisar, police noted she had primarily lived in New Delhi.

She Went to Pakistan For The Purpose Of Shooting Videos

The father of the YouTuber claims that his daughter went to Pakistan for the purpose of shooting videos for YouTube and that he wants the phones taken by police returned. He said police took their bank documents, phone, laptop, and passport. He said his daughter had been coming to Delhi often and has been in Hisar for about four to five days.

“She used to visit Pakistan and other places to shoot videos for YouTube,” Haris Malhotra told ANI. He said she went to Pakistan after obtaining the necessary permissions. “If she has some friends there, can’t she call them? I have no demands, but give us our phones. A case has been registered against us,” he said.
