Top LeT Leader Saifullah Khalid, Mastermind Behind 3 Major Attacks In India, Shot Dead In Pakistan’s Sindh Province News24 –

A senior Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative, Saifullah Khalid-behind multiple major terror attacks in India, has been killed in Pakistan’s Sindh province on Sunday, as reported by India Today. He was reportedly targeted by unidentified assailants.

He was involved in organizing the 2005 ISC attack in Bangalore, the 2006 attack on the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, and the 2008 assault on a CRPF camp in Rampur. In the years when these assaults happened, a number of lives were taken, and LeT significantly increased its actions in India.

Living as “Vinode Kumar” for several years in Nepal, Khalid married a woman named Nagma Banu. It is claimed that in Nepal, he was in charge of LeT’s activities, acting discreetly as he performed key tasks in recruitment and supplies. Most recently, Khalid moved his base to Matli, which is part of the Badin district in Pakistan’s Sindh province. He was active in Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan-based group the UN designates as a terrorist organisation. His main roles there were recruiting people and raising funds for various terrorist activities. Last week, three Lashkar terrorists, including Shahid Kuttay, who is their commander for operations, were shot dead during a clash with authorities in the Shopian district.
