Woman Shot Dead By Husband In Jharkhand For Questioning His Affair News24 –

A 22-year-old woman in Jharkhand’s Palamu district was shot dead by her husband, reportedly in response to her objections concerning his alleged affair. The shooting took place in Naudiha village, within the jurisdiction of Patan police station, on Monday night, according to PTI. Police officials, who asked to remain anonymous, informed PTI of the incident.

The victim was identified as Simran Devi. The husband, whom police have identified as Vinit Singh, and the couple married in February. The sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) of Medininagar, Mani Bhushan Prasad, informed PTI that Singh has been evading arrest and raids are ongoing to locate him.

“The initial investigation suggests that the man had an illicit relationship with another woman, which was opposed by his wife. They argued the issue on Monday night during which the husband shot her wife dead in anger,” the SDPO said.

Wife Murdered Over Cheating Suspicion In Jharkhand

A 25-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband in their house in Kondhawe Dhawade, Jharkhand on May 16, due to suspicion of her character.

After an investigation the Uttamnagar Police charged the accused. According to the police report Deepak allegedly violently assaulted Diksha with kicks, punches, and sticks while fighting on May 16. After allegedly kicking his wife Diksha in the chest deliberately, he injured her which resulted in her death.

Man In Noida Kills Wife, Walks To Police Station To Confess

A man in Noida reportedly killed his wife last month when he was consumed by doubt and suspicion. Police said in June, a 55-year-old man, who graduated in computer engineering, suspected his wife was having an affair. Once he had finally killed her, he walked over two kilometres to the police station to confess what he had done.

On April 7, the man’s family said there was an argument that lasted most of the night. He allegedly locked the bedroom door, covered her head with a pillow, used the hammer to bash her head as she screamed, continued hitting her until he thought she was dead.
