Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Warns Of Terror Threats In South, Urges Crackdown On Illegal Migration News24 –
On Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan argued that states in the south are particularly at risk from terrorism and should remain watchful. Kalyan expressed worries over security, encouraging people to be on high alert due to climbing numbers of Rohingya migrants and possible coastal attacks.
There must be the same level of awareness among our police as there is among our troops guarding the borders. I have sent a letter to the DGP of Andhra Pradesh demanding that he closely supervise and coordinate with the other government departments, Kalyan said.
The Deputy CM pointed out that it is necessary to increase surveillance along the coasts and watch out for unfamiliar people to protect the country from threats. He emphasized the need for watchful security inside the country following the recent cooperation between the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Police, as their recent discoveries point to terrorist connections.
He mentioned that because settlers receive ration and Aadhaar, it leaves the locals without jobs and voting power. He stated that something must be wrong with the system and people should not be assisting illegal migrants in staying in the state.
