Senior Citizens Above 70 Can Now Easily Get Ayushman Card Through THIS Application News24 –

The government has clarified that senior citizens aged 70+ can now create their digital health card directly through the “Ayushman Bharat Health Account” (ABHA) app. Since Aadhaar-related information is already present in the app, no additional documents are required.

If there is an elderly member in your family who is 70 years of age or above, then their health card can be made from the mobile phone itself. For this, first download the ABHA app on your smartphone, which is available for free on the Google Play Store and the App Store.

After opening the app, enter your mobile number and log in with OTP. After login, your name, date of birth, and address linked to Aadhaar will be automatically filled in the app. After this, the app will ask you to create a 14-digit ABHA number (Health ID). The Golden Health Card is issued under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana with this number.

People above 70 years of age do not need to upload any documents because all the information is already taken from Aadhaar. As soon as the ABHA number is generated, your health card will be ready in a few minutes, which you can download in PDF or get it printed from the nearest CSC center.

In this entire process, there is no need to stand in line, no hassle of filling forms, and no need to get photocopies of documents. The government has made this process completely digital and simple so that elderly citizens are not deprived of health facilities.
