Multiple Feared Dead In Stampede In Bengaluru News24 –


The celebration of RCB’s historic victory turned into a tragic incident. A stampede broke out due to the huge crowd gathered outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, in which 11 people lost their lives and many were seriously injured.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru team reached the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, where they were felicitated by the state government. A victory ceremony was supposed to take place at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The stampede broke out near the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Due to heavy traffic, the open bus parade was cancelled as massive traffic congestion took place in the city. Karnataka’s Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Governor, along with other ministers, are also participating in it. RCB fans were seen on top of the Karnataka High Court as well.

How It All Started?

The reason for a sudden stampede is not clear, but reportedly, the gates of the Chinnaswamy stadium were not opened on time, and fans were eager to see their champion team. This led to outrage among the fans, which resulted in total chaos at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The crowd got out of hand and broke through the gates of the stadium. A car was damaged after fans climbed over it outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. A large number of Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans have turned up here to catch a glimpse of their champion team.
