In a spectacular display of discipline and dedication, the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre hosted a memorable Passing Out Parade today, marking the induction of 194 well-trained Agniveer recruits into the esteemed Ladakh Scouts Regiment. The event, which took place in Leh, was graced by Major General Gurpal Singh, YSM, SM, GOC Uniform Force, who served as the Chief Guest. The parade was attended by a distinguished gathering of military and civil dignitaries, along with the proud parents of the new Agniveers.
The ceremony unfolded in accordance with the highest traditions of the Indian Army, showcasing the spirit and commitment of the young soldiers hailing from various area’s across Ladakh. As they marched with precision and pride, the recruits demonstrated their readiness to serve the nation with honor and bravery.
In his address, Major General Gurpal Singh congratulated the new Agniveers for their remarkable performance during training and encouraged them to dedicate their lives to the service of the nation. He acknowledged the vital role played by their families in motivating these young men to pursue a career in the armed forces and praised the personnel of the Ladakh Scouts for their exceptional valor and contributions to national security.
The ceremony also recognized outstanding performances during training with medals awarded to deserving Agniveers. Additionally, Gaurav Padak awards were presented to parents who are currently serving or have previously served in the Army, celebrating their legacy and commitment to the nation.
