Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Visits Family Of Pahalgam Terror Attack Victim, Provides Job Support News24 –
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the home of terror attack victim Syed Aadil Hussain in the Hapatnard area of Pahalgam on Saturday. Aadil tragically lost his life along with 25 tourists in a brutal terrorist attack in the Baisaran Valley on April 22 this year.
During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor met with Aadil’s grieving family, offering them reassurance of full government support during this challenging time. Accompanied by senior police and civil officials, Sinha expressed his condolences and commitment to assisting those affected by the tragedy.
In a move to honor Aadil’s sacrifice, the Lieutenant Governor handed over a job letter to Aadil’s wife, Gulnaz Akhter. This gesture aims to provide financial stability to the family, who lost their sole breadwinner in the attack. The Waqf Board had previously taken steps to support the family by providing a job to Aadil’s brother.
Speaking to reporters after the visit, Lieutenant Governor Sinha said that its government’s commitment to support families impacted by such acts of violence. “We had already planned to meet with the grieving family and provide assistance,” he said. “The permanent job offered to a family member is aimed at helping them navigate this difficult period.”
