91-Km 4-Lane Corridor Connecting To Purvanchal To Be Inaugurated On June… News24 –

The Gorakhpur Link Expressway, which connects to the Purvanchal Expressway, will now be inaugurated on June 20. The event was earlier scheduled for June 17, but the date has been changed, while the rest of the program will remain the same. The inauguration ceremony will be held at two locations- Salarpur in Azamgarh and Jaitpur (near Bhagwanpur toll plaza) in Gorakhpur, as reported by Jagran.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address public meetings at both the sites. Keeping in mind the possibility of rain, the Gorakhpur event will be held on the expressway itself.

The Chief Minister is likely to visit Gorakhpur on Monday and pay tribute to the late BJP leader Devesh Srivastava. The administration has started preparations for this.

On June 11, a team from the government inspected both the sites. Preparations were in full swing, but on Saturday the news of the program date being changed came. After this, DM Krishna Karunesh held a meeting with the officials and instructed them to complete the preparations within the stipulated time.

On June 20, the Chief Minister will first address the program in Azamgarh, then travel about 90 kilometers via the expressway to reach Gorakhpur and address the function there too.
