Talks Underway For Mega Theme Park In Manesar, Confirms CM Nayab Singh Saini News24 –

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Wednesday said that talks are on between the state government and Disney Company to set up a major amusement park. 500 acres of land has been identified near Pachgaon Chowk in Manesar for this project. According to the Times of India, CM Saini shared this information after meeting Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Delhi.

The Chief Minister said that the proposed Disney park will not only boost regional tourism but will also bring revolutionary changes in the area from an economic point of view. According to him, the project will provide direct and indirect employment to thousands of people and will also attract international tourists. Saini said that Gurugram has been chosen for this project because it is economically important and has strong infrastructure.

The Global City will be a modern city spread over 1,000 acres, which will be developed in Sectors 36, 36B, 37 and 37B. The project will be connected to the Delhi-Gurugram and Dwarka Expressway and will be based on the ‘walk-to-work’ principle, with all amenities available nearby.

Disney Project

The Chief Minister also said that this park will not only be an entertainment destination, but it will bring cultural, social and economic benefits to the state and the nation. He described it as a major source of employment generation.

If the plan materializes, it will be the first theme park in India to be built in official partnership with Disney. It is noteworthy that in February this year, the Maharashtra government also announced plans to bring Disney theme park in Navi Mumbai.

Expansion Of Other Cultural Events

Apart from Disney Land, the Haryana government is also planning to make the International Gita Mahotsav held in Kurukshetra more grand. Also, a plan to organize Surajkund fair three times a year is now being considered.
