Delhi To Jaipur In Just 3 Hours! New Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Transforms Travel; Check Details Inside News24 –

Travelling between Delhi and Jaipur is now faster than ever. The recently completed 66.9-km stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, called the Bandikui-Jaipur spur, has reduced travel time between the two cities to about three hours. The route was opened for trial on July 2 and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has waived toll charges during this one-day trial period.

This new route connects Bandikui in Dausa district to Jaipur and offers a faster and more convenient option than the traditionally jam-hit NH-48 and NH-21. The fee for travelling on this route from Jaipur may be between Rs 600 and Rs 690 when toll collection begins.

NHAI officials have said that a forensic safety audit and final inspection of the road will also be conducted during the toll-free period. After this, its commercial use will begin. Built at a cost of around Rs 1,368 crore, the spur has multiple interchanges like Khuri to ensure smooth entry of traffic into Jaipur.

During the trial, vehicles are allowed to run at a maximum speed of 120 kmph. The expressway will reduce travel time, save fuel and also reduce transport costs. Now commuters can reach Jaipur from Bandikui in just 30 minutes and the journey from Delhi to Jaipur will be completed in 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
