YEIDA Launches New Institutional Plot Scheme For Schools, Colleges, And Universities; Applications Open Till… News24 –
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched a new institutional plot scheme for setting up educational institutions such as schools, colleges and universities. According to officials, these institutions will be developed in the YEIDA area and applications for this can be submitted till 5 pm on July 31.
According to the authority, the scheme has been started from Monday, which includes a total of 15 institutional plots. Of these, 10 plots are reserved for schools up to class 12 and are located in Sectors 17, 18, 20 and 22E. The size of these plots ranges between 8,000 to 14,100 square meters.
Officer on Special Duty Shailendra Bhatia said that the remaining five large plots, with an area of 27,000 to 83,000 square meters, have been reserved for higher education institutions such as universities, medical and engineering colleges, management institutes, sports and residential colleges. These plots are located in Sectors 17A, 13 and 22E.
He also informed that the reserve price of these plots starts from Rs 13 crore and goes up to Rs 105 crore for the largest plot.
The application process for this scheme has started from July 1. The list of eligible applicants will be published on August 28 and the final allotment will be done through e-auction on September 4.
The authority says that this scheme has been started with the aim of strengthening the educational infrastructure in the YEIDA area and making the area a major institutional center, which is located near the Noida International Airport.

Also, the authority is preparing to bring many schemes for residential, industrial, commercial and other business use in the future. The area is located along the 165 km long Yamuna Expressway extending from Greater Noida to Agra and is spread over about 2.5 lakh hectares. The authority is carrying out urban and industrial development work in six districts, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras and Agra.
