The Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir Police executed coordinated raids across three locations in Jammu, Doda, and Handwara North Kashmir today. These raids was part of an ongoing investigation registered under FIR number 12/2022 at Police Station CI-SIA Kashmir, focusing on a complex conspiracy involving cross-border funding through cryptocurrency.

The raids, conducted with the support of local police and magistrates, targeted financial networks believed to be facilitating terrorist activities and inciting youth against the National security.

During the searches, investigators recovered vital evidence, including electronic devices, bank documents, and other materials that could help identify co-conspirators involved in anti-national activities. The agency described the seizure of this evidence as a major success in exposing hidden financial channels that promote terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

Top officials of the agency said that SIA is particularly focused on dismantling the use of cryptocurrency for funding violence and radicalization, which has become an increasingly prevalent method among terrorist organizations in the recent past.
