IndiGo Flight Aborts Takeoff Amid A Technical Snag-Here’s Eveything You Need To Know News24 –


An IndiGo flight (6E7966) from Ahmedabad to Diu aborted takeoff after indications of a technical snag were noticed just before departure, according to an airline spokesperson.

IndiGo said that standard procedure was followed, with the pilots informing the authorities and returning the aircraft to the bay. The aircraft will undergo necessary inspections before being cleared for further operations.

The Incident has happened two days after an IndiGo plane on a flight from GOA with 140 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the Indore airport. The aircraft experienced a technical snag related to its landing gear.

During that instance, the Indigo spokesperson stated that flight 6E 813 operating from Goa International Airport (Dabolim) to Indore reported a technical snag just before landing. “The aircraft landed safely in Indore. It will undergo necessary checks, as per mandatory procedures, before resuming operations.”

Before this flight, 6E 6591 operating from Tirupati to Hyderabad on July 20 had been turned back and landed safely in Tirupati amid a technical snag. The aircraft went through necessary checks before resuming operations.
