Jewar Airport-Greater Noida Link Road To Cut Travel Time From Noida Extension By 3 Km News24 –

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and the Greater Noida Authority are planning to construct a 3-km-long link road between Greater Noida and the upcoming Noida International Airport. According to a Times of India report, the feasibility of this corridor is being evaluated.

This link road will connect the 130-metre-wide city main road to the 120-metre-wide Yamuna City Road, providing relief to commuters travelling from Greater Noida West and Ghaziabad to the airport area. The corridor will help make the nearly 30-km-long route stretching from Char Murti Chowk to Sirsa village more accessible.

The land acquisition process, which was previously stalled, is expected to resume soon. Also, an underpass is proposed beneath the Eastern Peripheral Expressway near Sirsa village.

Recently, officials inspected the site and reviewed the incomplete stretches to consider the future plan of action. The detailed project report (DPR) is expected to be completed in the next two months. The cost of the project and the financial arrangements will be discussed between the concerned authorities and stakeholders.

This link road will accelerate regional development by connecting residential areas like Sigma III, IV, Omicron 1A and industrial areas like Ecotech XI.
