‘Some Want Indian-Made Goods To Become Costlier So World Won’t Buy Them, But No Force Can Stop Our Progress’ News24 –
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said that India’s rapid progress has made many global powers feel uncomfortable.
While addressing a public gathering in Madhya Pradesh’s Raisen, Rajnath Singh said, “No external pressure can stop the country’s continued progress.”
Rajnath Singh said that after witnessing India’s growing strength, especially in the defence sector, some powers are trying to hinder the country’s development by interfering in international markets.
He said, “There are some people who are not happy with the speed at which India is developing. They are not liking it. ‘Sabke boss toh hum hain’, how is India growing at such a fast pace? And many are trying that the things made in India, by the hands of Indians become more expensive than the things made in those countries, so that when the things become expensive, the world will not buy them. This effort is being made. But India is progressing so fast, I say with full confidence that now no power in the world can stop India from becoming a big power of the world.”
Discussing India’s remarkable achievements in the defence sector, Singh said that now the country is exporting defence equipment worth more than Rs 24,000 crore every year. He described it as a symbol of the strength and self-reliance of the new India, and said that this export is constantly increasing.
Talking about national security, he raised the issue of terrorism and explained how India has given a befitting reply to terrorists while maintaining human values.
“Terrorists came here and killed people by asking their religion. We also decided that we will not kill anyone by asking their religion, we will kill them after seeing their deeds (Karam), and we killed them. When Sita ji was in Lanka, Ravana had kidnapped her. When Hanuman ji reached there, he created havoc, and when he reached Sita ji, she said very politely, “Hey Hanuman! What have you done? Why did you create so much havoc in Lanka? Why did you kill so many people?” Hanuman ji sat very politely and with folded hands told Sita ji, “Hey Mata, Jin Mohi Mara, Tin Mai Maare”. Those who killed our people, we have killed them” he said.
In this context, he mentioned an incident from Ramayana, saying that when Hanuman ji met Sita Mata in Lanka, Sita asked him about the devastation caused in Lanka. Hanuman ji replied with folded hands , “Hey Mata, Jin Mohi Mara, Tin Main Mare.” That is, those who killed our people, we killed them.
Rajnath Singh’s speech makes it clear that India today is in a much stronger and decisive position in terms of self-reliance, security and global identity. This address comes at a time when India is rapidly moving towards the goal of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and making a strong presence felt on the global stage. His message was very clear, India is not going to stop now, no force can deter its path of progress.
