Parliament Monsoon Session 2025 LIVE: With the monsoon session of Parliament scheduled to conclude on August 21, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha continue to witness frequent disruptions, as Opposition members stage protests over the Bihar caste survey (SIR) exercise.

Members of the INDIA bloc boycotted Monday’s session and instead marched to the Election Commission office, protesting against alleged “vote chori”. The matter escalated after Delhi Police detained Rahul Gandhi and opposition MPs.

On Monday, the Lok Sabha passed the National Sports Governance Bill and the National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill. The same Bills are expected to be introduced in the Rajya Sabha today, where the ruling NDA is confident of a smooth passage.
