Cousins Hacked To Death By Unidentified Assailants News24 –


In a shocking incident, two cousins were brutally murdered late Monday night by unidentified assailants wielding swords and knives in Maharashtra’s Thane district. 

Bhiwandi taluka police station inspector Harshvardhan Barve said the incident took place on a road in Khardi village around 11:30 pm on Monday, where the assailants attacked them.

Both sustained severe injuries in the attack and fell on the spot. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The cause of the attack is not yet clear.

The deceased have been identified as Praful Tangdi (42) and Chetan Tangdi (22), residents of Khardi village, police said.

The bodies have been sent to a government hospital for postmortem, officials said. A case has been registered against the unidentified assailants under Section 103(1) of the Indian Penal Code. Police have launched a search to nab the accused.
