Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident that took place in UP’s Nagarchauri village, one member of a family died while two others were injured after a man brutally attacked them with a knife on Sunday evening. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Mishrauliya police station area. The deceased, identified as 45-year-old Ramkala, died on the spot while his wife and daughter suffered serious wounds.
According to the Police, efforts are underway to apprehend the accused and others involved in the crime. A case has been registered, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing. Additional SP Prashant Kumar told ANI that an individual identified as Mukesh has stabbed three people of the same family in Nagchauri village under the Mishrauliya PS area and injured them.
“On reaching the spot, we saw that two people were injured, a mother and a daughter. They were immediately sent to the hospital in an ambulance. But the father, Ramkala, who is 45 years old, died on the spot. An FIR has been registered on the basis of the statement received from the family. And efforts are being made to catch Mukesh and others involved in the incident,” Kumar added.
In a separate incident that occurred in Greater Noida, a woman was allegedly murdered by her husband, who set her ablaze over dowry demands. The shocking incident occurred on August 21 in Sirsa village, Greater Noida. Horrifying footage showed the woman walking down the stairs while on fire after being brutally thrashed by her husband and in-laws.
The deceased, identified as Nikki, married the accused, Vipin, in 2016. The victim’s elder sister, Kanchan, who is married into the same family, filed a police complaint against her in-laws following the incident. She accused them of thrashing her sister and torturing both of them for a dowry of Rs 36 lakh just six months after Nikki’s marriage.
