Kolkata Law College Rape Filmed Through Exhaust Fan Hole By Accused, Reveals Chargesheet News24 –

A recent update in the Kolkata Law College rape case has shed further light on the alleged actions of the arrested miscreants. According to a fresh chargesheet filed in the case, multiple obscene videos of the victim during the heinous act were recorded and later used to blackmail her.

The chargesheet, running over 650 pages, also confirms through medical examination that the woman was raped, with the DNA of the accused matching forensic samples collected by the police.

The first-year student was allegedly gang-raped on the South Calcutta Law College campus on June 25 by accused Manojit Mishra, an alumnus of the college, along with Zaib Ahmed, Pramit Mukherjee, and Pinaki Banerjee, the security guard. The chargesheet has been filed against all four accused.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the accused dragging and holding the victim hostage. In addition, several obscene videos of the victim were recovered from the mobile phones of the accused. As per media reports, some of these videos were secretly recorded through a hole in the wall meant for an exhaust fan.

The recovered videos also contain the voices of the accused, and forensic analysis confirmed a match with their voice samples. Mobile location data further placed them at the crime scene.

The chargesheet also notes that the security guard had deliberately locked the guard room instead of informing the police or alerting anyone nearby about the crime, leading to his inclusion as an accused in the case.

It has also been revealed that Manojit Mishra had been arrested eight times prior to this incident but was repeatedly bailed out by his associates. Meanwhile, Ahmed, Mukherjee, and the other involved students have been expelled from the institute.
