HM Amit Shah’s Aircraft Diverted To Jaipur Due To Bad Weather In Delhi News24 –

Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s special aircraft was diverted to Jaipur due to bad weather in Delhi on Monday.

According to NDTV, the BSF aircraft landed at Jaipur airport at 7:54 am and returned to Delhi after an hour once the weather improved.

Shah’s flight diversion created a stir among security officials and personnel on the ground. As per protocol, security arrangements were made at the airport.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, State Chief Secretary Sudhanshu Pant, and DGP Rajeev Sharma reached the airport to receive the Union Home Minister.

Meanwhile, an Air India Express flight IX2610 operating from Chennai to Andaman was forced to return to its origin after being unable to land at its destination due to severe weather conditions, sources said.

The aircraft circled the destination airport, but deteriorating weather made landing unsafe. The flight was subsequently returned to Chennai, where it landed safely with all passengers on board.

The sources informed ANI that Air India Express has made alternative arrangements for the affected passengers, who will now be accommodated on flights scheduled from Chennai tomorrow.
In the meantime, the airline has provided hotel accommodation and necessary assistance to ensure passenger comfort.
