Protesters set fire to the Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the Supreme Court. They also vandalised and set fire to the personal residence of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and the houses and offices of many ministers and leaders. Because of the public anger, the government gave in, and Prime Minister Oli resigned.
