Bihar On High Alert, Border Security Tightened News24 –

The police headquarters has issued a high alert in view of the worsening situation in Nepal. ADG Law and Order, Pankaj Darad, stated that all border districts, including Bagaha, are on high alert and authorities have been instructed to remain vigilant along the border 24/7. He also spoke with the SSB IG, asking them to keep security arrangements tight and maintain close monitoring via CCTV. A ban has been imposed on the movement of tourists traveling from India to Nepal and from Nepal to India, though people living near the border can cross by showing their identity cards.
