Man Shoots Wife on her Face in Broad Daylight, Opens Fire at Police – Tear Gas Used to Nab Him News24 –


In a shocking incident, a man in Gwalior shot his wife in broad daylight on Friday near Roop Singh Stadium. According to the police, the accused Arvind Parihar stopped his wife, Nandini Parihar and fired multiple rounds on her face. Eyewitnesses said she sustained four to five bullet wounds before being rushed to the hospital. Her condition remains critical. However, the police stationed nearby attempted to stop the gunman, he brandished his pistol at them as well. This created panic at the place and later the officers were forced to fire tear gas to stop him and disarm him. Eventually, the accused was subdued and arrested on the spot.

Police said that the injured woman has been admitted to the hospital. Preliminary reports suggest that she was hit by 4–5 bullets in different parts of her body, and her condition remains critical. There are also claims that they lived together, though it is unclear whether they were actually married. The police are investigating this as well.

here was a dispute going on between the two for a long time. The victim had lodged complaints earlier also, and alleged in the local public hearing that the accused used to harm her.

Nandini had filed a complaint against Arvind Parihar Before

The victim, Nandini Parihar, had recently filed complaints against Arvind. She said that he tricked her into marriage even though he was already married and had children. She also accused him and his associate, Pooja Parihar, of beating her in November 2024.

Nandini also said that Arvind once tried to run over her, her son, and her mother with a car, which left her badly injured. She further claimed that he shared fake obscene photos and videos of her on social media, threatened to kill her, and harassed her family and supporters.

Police had earlier registered several cases against Arvind, including one for attempted murder. Now, authorities are checking if Friday’s shooting is connected to the earlier attacks and threats that Nandini had reported.
