Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Monday vowed once again his loyalty to NDA, saying: “I am now back. And, I will not go anywhere henceforth.” The Bihar chief minister made the statement in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to PTI, Kumar said, “It was the JD(U)-BJP combine which had formed a government in Bihar, for the first time, in November, 2005. For one or two times, I went to the other side, upon prodding of some of my own party colleagues, one of whom is sitting here,” said Nitish Kumar, pointing towards Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh ‘Lalan’, whom he replaced as the party’s national president nearly two years ago.
While praising PM Modi, CM Nitish Kumar said, “I once again congratulate and thank him. He is doing so much for the entire country and also for Bihar… I also express my gratitude to all the dignitaries present here. The amount of work he has done for Bihar is a very big thing.”
