His journey from a Chaiwala (tea seller) to the leader of the world’s largest democracy has been very inspiring.

PM Modi comes from a humble family background. He was born to Damodardas Modi and Heeraben Modi and grew up in a middle-class but loving family. At a young age, he dedicated his life to the service of people and the nation. During his initial years, he worked with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and later entered politics, working with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

During the 1980s, PM Modi shouldered different responsibilities within the Sangh. In 1987, he served as the General Secretary of the BJP in Gujarat. Later, during his 13-year-long stint as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from October 2001 to May 2014, he transformed the picture of the state. His decisive victory in the 2024 Parliamentary elections emerged as a ray of hope for billions of Indians.
