Meanwhile, on Friday morning, several children and members of a family fell ill due to suspected food poisoning in two districts of Karnataka.

The children’s health deteriorated after eating chowmein from a stall during a village fair in Temki village, under the Sadar police station area of Latehar district. An official stated on Thursday that the case is a case of suspected food poisoning.

The sick children range in age from two to 15 years. All were immediately admitted to Sadar Hospital. The children are now stable,” he said, adding that they will be discharged soon.

Ten students at a residential school in Karnataka’s Mandya district fell ill on Friday morning. Located in KM Doddi, Maddur taluk, the students experienced stomach pain, vomiting, and other symptoms. Officials stated that this is also a case of suspected food poisoning, and all students were treated at a hospital.
