Odisha to Gujarat Amrit Bharat Train: Good News! The New Amrit Bharat Express Train is set to ease travel and reduce commute time between Odisha and Gujarat. The service not only promises a smooth travel experience but also aims to boost connectivity between the two states. The Indian Railways (IR) has announced that the new train will depart from Surat’s Udhna railway station and arrive at Odisha’s Brahmapur railway station.

Route, Stoppages And Features

The service will offer modern amenities and a high-quality travel experience, especially to low-income families. It will stop at several major stations on the way to Odisha: Rayagada, Vizianagaram, Nandurbar, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Palasa, Badnera, Raipur, and Titlagarh. Although the railways have not announced an official date for the train’s inauguration, it is believed that PM Modi may launch it during his visit to Odisha on September 27.

The Amrit Bharat Express train will run at a speed of approximately 160 to 180 km/h. It will have a total of 23 coaches. Of these, 11 will be general class coaches, 8 sleeper class coaches, 1 pantry car, and 2 second class coaches.

A coach will be dedicated to disabled passengers. The operation of this train will provide significant relief to migrant workers returning home from other states near Gujarat. Even during the peak holiday season, passengers traveling on this train will enjoy fast and direct connectivity.
