UP Man Kills Mother, Hangs Her Body Over Property Dispute: Police News24 –

In a shocking incident, a man strangled his mother to death and hanged her body with a rope to make it appear as a suicide case, police said on Friday.

According to a PTI report, the accused has been identified as 30-year-old Kishan Kishore. He is a resident of Kherwa village in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district.

Police said the accused killed his mother, 55-year-old Sheela Devi, under the impression that she would transfer her land worth Rs 3 lakh into his brother’s account.

A senior police officer said that Sheela Devi had been living at her cousin Jai Singh’s home for some time. Her body was found hanging from a noose in Singh’s house.

The postmortem revealed strangulation as the cause of death, the senior officer added.

The police arrested the accused, who confessed to his crime after interrogation.
