RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav made 3 key election promises in Bihar on Wednesday. He announced permanent government jobs, a monthly payment of ₹30,000 for women in self-help groups, called Jeevika Didis, and loan waivers, if his party come to power.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav made several major election announcements at a press conference in Bihar. He promised a monthly salary of ₹30,000 and government employee status for Jeevika Didis, permanent jobs for all contract workers, and a job for every household. He accused the current government of corruption. “Every family will have a government job within 20 months of his government’s formation.”

Current Bihar Government is Corrupt

Tejashwi Yadav said that people in Bihar are angry with the current government because of corruption and crime. He added that the government copied his schemes. He said the nomination process is over, and now it is time for election campaigning. People in Bihar want change and are frustrated with the double-engine government. He had announced plans to help those affected by unemployment and inflation, but the current government copied them.
