IMD Issues Yellow Alert for 13 districts in Maharashtra- Check Today’s Mumbai, Nagpur, and Pune Weather Forecast News24 –


Maharashtra Weather Forecast: A yellow signal for thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for 13 districts in Maharashtra on Friday. In many areas of the state, including the Konkan, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Vidarbha regions, rainfall is predicted to continue.

Unseasonal rainfall over the past several days has already seriously harmed crops in a number of areas. On October 31, the IMD has predicted mild to moderate rainfall in a number of districts.

The following are IMD weather forecasts for different regions:

Western Maharashtra

Light rainfall is anticipated in the districts of Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, and Solapur. The ghats of Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara may see some light rain, according to the IMD.

Marathwada

A yellow alert has been issued for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar due to the possibility of mild to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning. Light to moderate rain is also possible in Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur, and Dharashiv.

Konkan and Mumbai Region

Palghar and Raigad districts are likely to get light to moderate rainfall along with lightning and thunderstorms. Both districts are under a yellow alert. Light to moderate showers is also possible in Thane, Mumbai, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg.

Vidarbha and Nearby Areas

Amravati, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, and Nagpur may have thunderstorms and rain, resulting in yellow alerts in these districts. However, Akola, Buldhana, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal districts are not anticipated to receive rain.

North Maharashtra

Thunderstorms with lightning and moderate rainfall are predicted for the districts of Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, and Nashik, especially the Nashik ghat areas. These areas are under a yellow alert.

The IMD has advised residents to be mindful of changing weather conditions and take precautions to safeguard their health and agricultural produce because fluctuating temperatures and humidity can lead to health problems.
