Recently, he had been actively supporting Priyadarshi Piyush, a candidate from Prashant Kishor’s party, Jan Suraaj. Yadav was regarded as one of the few figures in the Mokama-Taal area with a strong influence on local politics.

Dular Chand, a resident of Mokama in Bihar’s Patna district, was fond of wrestling and singing. Once a supporter of Anant Singh, he was backing Jan Suraaj in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. Reportedly, he had been speaking out against Singh on social media for some time. Yadav had recorded a campaign song for Jan Suraaj candidate Priyadarshi Piyush.

Yadav was considered one of the influential figures in the area during the 1980s and 1990s. In the 1990s, he came into contact with RJD chied Lalu Yadav and contested the assembly election from Mokama. After his defeat, Yadav remained active in politics, associating with several parties and leaders. He was a resident of Tartar village under the Ghoswari police station area of ​​Mokama.
