At least 10 people were feared dead in a tragic stampede at the Sri Venkateswamy Temple in Kasibugga, Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, on Saturday. The incident occurred when a large crowd of devotees gathered at the temple to offer prayers on the occasion of Ekadashi, leading to chaos and a deadly rush.
According to various reports, five people died on the spot in the incident, while several others sustained serious injuries. Local authorities were immediately alerted and rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations. The death toll is feared to rise further.
