Snowfall in Western Himalayan region, Rain to lash Tamil Nadu, Andhra – Check forecast for Delhi News24 –


IMD Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty across several states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttarakhand on Tuesday, November 4. Cyclonic circulations and upper-air disturbances continue to persist over the northeast Arabian Sea, northeast Assam, east Bangladesh, and surrounding regions, contributing to active weather conditions. Additionally, the western disturbance is currently active in the country, affecting the northern India.

IMD Weather Update: Check region-wise forecast

Northwest India:
The IMD has forecast thunderstorm with lightning over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.
Scattered to fairly wide spread rainfall/ snowfall likely is expected over western Himalayan region (Jammu, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand) on November 4. Light rainfall has been predicted over Punjab and Haryana on Tuesday.

East India:
Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) is likely over Andaman & Nicobar Islands during November 4-5.

West India:
While Gujarat and Maharashtra may not experience specific weather conditions today, they are expected to witness thunderstorm with lightning on November 5.

Northeast India:
The IMD has predicted thunderstorm with lightning over Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today.

South Peninsular India:
Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema on Tuesday.

IMD Weather Update: Temperature Forecast

No significant change in minimum temperatures over Northwest and Central India is expected during next 48 hours. The IMD has forecast gradual fall in temperature by 2-3°C over East India during next 3 days and no significant change thereafter during subsequent 3-4 days.

Check forecast for Delhi

The sky over Delhi is expected to remain mainly clear over the next five days, with mist and haze likely to prevail. There has been an appreciable fall in minimum temperatures by 1-3°C and no large change in maximum temperatures during past 24 hours over Delhi. Today, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 28-30°C.
