Several other states may also see light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The IMD also forecasts a prolonged wet spell over the southern peninsula, particularly impacting Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.

IMD has also warned of lightning and gusty winds reaching 30–40 kmph over Telangana on Saturday. 24 November 2025 – Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Schools will be closed in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP, and other few northern states. Shaheedi Diwas on November 24 honors Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, who gave his life to protect religious freedom. The day is marked with prayers, kirtan singing, and remembrance ceremonies in Gurudwaras.
