Bihar Election Result 2025: ‘Nitish Kumar will be the Chief Minister’

Bihar Election Result 2025: Bihar leader and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi is confident that Nitish Kumar will return as Chief Minister post the 2025 Bihar Assembly election results.

The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) surpassed the majority mark in early trends when the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 vote counting began on November 14, 2025. The BJP and JD(U) alliance appears destined to retake power. The Jan Suraaj Party has not yet opened its account, while the Mahagathbandhan, which consists of the Congress and the RJD, comes in a far second. The Mahagathbandhan was leading in 49 seats and the NDA in 190, according to trends at 11.30 am. 84 seats are in the BJP’s favor.

243 Returning Officers (ROs), 243 Counting Observers, and the candidates or their agents are present during the counting process. The ECI claims that this is the first time in recent memory that no irregularities or malpractices were found at any polling place during scrutiny, and no repolls have been suggested.
