Will Tejashwi fail to become Leader of the Opposition as well? RJD is in danger, and it will be challenging to maintain even his seat! Details Inside
This year, the Bihar assembly elections are poised to be a nightmare for the Rashtriya Janata Dal as the party is set to register one of its worst performances. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav, the Magathbandhan’s Chief Ministerial face, is also facing a nail-biting contest to retain his bastion, the Raghopur seat.
RJD In Danger, Tejashwi Finds It Difficult To Even Secure…
BJP’s Satish Kumar is expected to return to the Raghopur constituency as a BJP candidate, reshaping its destiny, which was once a safe RJD seat and the Yadav family’s stronghold. On the other hand, Tejashwi Yadav, who aspires to become Bihar’s Chief Minister, now finds it difficult to even secure his position as the Leader of the Opposition.
Latest trends indicate that the RJD is leading in only 24 to 25 seats in the state assembly polls. The counting of votes is currently underway for all 243 assembly seats. Overall, Yadav’s RJD needs to win at least 25 seats to secure the position of Leader of the Opposition. If the party falls below this figure, it will be unable to hold that position. The people of Bihar have clearly rejected the Mahagathbandhan and Chief Ministerial Candidate Tejashwi Yadav.
Raghopur Rejects Tejashwi Yadav?
The close battle in Raghopur between Tejashwi Yadav and Satish Kumar contrasts with the past comfortable wins for the RJD leader and his family in their bastion. Raghopur has traditionally been a crucial seat for the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the INDIA alliance, led by the party. Since morning, all eyes were stuck on who would retain its prominence in this constituency – Tejashwi Yadav, who held the seat over the past 10 years, or Satish Kumar Yadav, who has a long-standing association with the constituency in the past. Now, Kumar is expected to return to the constituency on a BJP ticket by defeating Tejashwi.
