LJP (RV) emerges as NDA’s ‘Finisher’, Chirag Paswan steals the show with an impressive performance News24 –
The 2025 Bihar assembly elections will be remembered for the NDA’s big showdown. The potent combination of Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi rocked the polls, proving the alliance’s mettle in the state once again. But this time, the landslide victory will also be marked under the name of a Yuva Bihari leader, Chirag Paswan, whose Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas showcased a strong performance.
Paswan’s LJP(RV) Delivers Jadeja-like Breakout Performance
The party is currently leading in 19 seats, as per the latest trends on the Election Commission’s website. This is the most impressive showdown by LJP(RV), who managed to win only one seat in the 2020 Bihar elections out of 137 seats. This year, Paswan has proved to be Ravindra Jadeja. Just like the cricketer, who decimates the opposition with his fiery strike rate, Paswan has played the role of a finisher in the NDA camp.
Modi’s Hanuman Steals The Spotlight
Having previously bargained hard to get 29 constituencies for the party, Paswan has proved his mettle in the 2025 state assembly polls. After playing spoiler for the JDU in several seats in 2020, many thought Chirag did not have the charisma to carry forward his father’s legacy. As NDA heads toward a photo finish in the 2025 Bihar elections, Modi’s “Hanuman” has stolen the spotlight.
LJP’s Performance
The performance of Chirag’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) in these elections has taken everyone by surprise. The LJP has exceeded expectations and is leading even in some of the toughest constituencies. Chirag, who had maintained a 100 per cent success rate in the Lok Sabha elections, has also done remarkably well in the Assembly polls as of now. Out of the 29 candidates fielded by his party, he is currently leading in 13 seats, having won 6 seats, as per 6.30 pm data. It should be noted that for all the seats he requested from the BJP, he has given a 100 per cent performance.
