Congress wins Jubilee Hills & Anta, AAP takes Tarn Taran; BJP holds Nagrota, MNF retains Dampa News24 –
Congress witnessed a huge victory on Friday, with party candidate Naveen Yadav securing a decisive margin of 24,658 votes in the high-stakes Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election against BRS’s Maganti Sunitha Gopinath.
Naveen Yadav strengthened Congress’ position in the Telangana Assembly by securing a total of 98,988 votes to BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha Gopinath’s 74,259 votes.
Returning Officer, P. Sairam, made the announcement of Naveen Yadav’s victory in the presence of the District Election Officer (DEO). The victory Certificate of Election (Victory Confirmation Certificate) was also handed to him.The death of the sitting MLA and BRS leader, Maganti Gopinath, prompted the Jubilee Hills by-election in Telangana.
In Rajasthan, Congress has managed to wrest back control of the Anta assembly constituency with party candidate Pramod Jain ‘Bhaya’ winning with a margin of more than 13 thousand votes. According to Election Commission of India’s data, after 20 rounds of the votes being counted, Congress candidate Pramod Jain emerged victorious receiving nearly 60 thousand votes. Jain had been leading in the polls since the vote counting started at 8 AM.

Bharatiya Janata Party has managed to retain Jammu and Kashmir’s Nagrota seat with late Devender Rana’s daughter Devyani Rana securing the Assembly constituency with a margin of more than 24,000 votes.
Voting for the bypolls in Nagrota Assembly constituency took place on November 11, and the counting of votes started at 8 AM on Friday.

The ruling AAP’s candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu won by a margin of 12,091 votes in the Tarn Taran bypolls. Sandhu is a Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) turncoat and a three-time MLA. Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) candidate and Azad Group leader Sukhwinder Kaur could gain 30,558, finishing behind Sandhu, who got 42,649 votes.
In an X post, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann wrote, “The splendid victory in the by-election of the Tarntaran Assembly Constituency has proven that the people of Punjab prefer politics of work. Under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal ji, the party is hoisting flags of victory. The people of Punjab have once again expressed their trust in the Aam Aadmi Party. This victory is the victory of the people, the hardworking volunteer companions, and the entire leadership. Mizo National Front (MNF) candidate R Lalthangliana has won the Dampa constituency by-elections by a margin of 562 votes, Election Commission of India announced on Friday. Counting of votes for the Dampa bypolls commenced at 8 AM today, and after 5 rounds of counting, the MNF candidate emerged victorius, receiving 6981 votes. The MNF candidate beat Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) candidate Vanlalsailova, who received 6419 votes, and Congress’ Jon Rotluangliana who got 2394 votes.
