FIR against ex-AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for provoking riots, attempt to murder

At least 20 other TDP workers, leaders have been booked in the case.
Hyderabad: A case has been registered against former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu at Mudivedu police station, Kurabalakota mandal in the wake of recent incidents in Angallu, Annamayya district, Tv9 Telugu reported.
The case was registered on the complaint that he made a speech in Angallu provoking TDP workers under the pretext of visiting irrigation projects. Naidu has been booked under criminal conspiracy and attempt to murder based on a complaint lodged by Umapathi Reddy.
Chandrababu Naidu has been named as Accused 1 while former minister Devineni Uma has been named as A2. Former minister Amarnath Reddy, MLC Ramgopal Reddy, former MLAs Shahjahan Bhasha, Tummalapati Ramesh, Kishore Kumar Reddy, Ganta Narahari Sriram Chinababu, Sridhar Verma and many others have been named as A3 in the case.
They were booked under Indian Penal Code sections 120b, 147, 148,153, 307, 115, 109, 323, 324, 506 r/w 149.
Around 70 TDP leaders have already been arrested previously in this incident in Chittoor district.
