Delhi SHOCKER!  Odisha Woman Raped And Abandoned In Sarai Kale Khan, Rescued At 3 AM News24 –


A shocking incident has come to light from the national capital, where a woman is alleged to have been assaulted and raped. TOI reported that a 34-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted and dumped on road in Sarai Kale Khan area of Delhi. As per the reports, an Army officer had alerted the police about the woman, the officer was passing through Bala Saheb Gurudwara near Sarai Kale Khan towards Maharani Bagh at around 2 AM when he saw a girl lying unconscious by the roadside.

The Indian Navy Officer informed the police and police immediately rushed to the site where they found her in torn kurti and a piece of cloth in her lower body. She was taken to hospital and she was found to be bleeding from her genital area.

The police told, that they suspect she was sexually assaulted at some other place and dumped in Sarai Kale Khan. According to the police, the woman hails from Odisha and she had come to Delhi last year. She told the police that she has completed a nursing course.

Reportedly, her parents had filed a missing person report in Odisha when she left her home, she was later found in Delhi. Two months ago, her parents came to Delhi to convince her to move back home, but she had refused.

Police further added that the woman had lost her phone a month age and she was not in contact with her family thereafter. TOI quoted a policeman who said that the woman was unable to tell how the phone was lost or whether it was stolen. She was residing in South Delhi but was sleeping in streets after she ran out of money. An officer stated, that in some CCTV footage, she is seen sleeping near an ATM for two days.

The woman is currently undergoing treatment and the police informed that she is right now unable to provide details about her assaulters. Police have contacted her brother and are reviewing the CCTV footage. Delhi police is trying to locate the victims’ movement through CCTV footage and her statement will be recorded today.
