Tanker Driver Held For Rape And Murder, Police Reveal SHOCKING Details News24 –


Bengaluru: The mystery around death of 28-year-old woman in Bengaluru has been finally solved by the police. The woman had been raped and hammered to death by a tanker driver. Her body was found on January 22 near Kalkere Lake in Ramamurthy Nagar. The accused operated as tanker driver in the locality and was arrested from his hideaway in North Karnataka.

The accused has been identified as 30-year-old Mudukappa alias Upendra alias Dastagir of Sarayipaly. During interrogation, he revealed that he knew the woman for some months. He confessed to the crime and said that he has sexually assaulted her when she was alone.

What Did The Police Say?

‘TOI’ Police who stated that Mudukappa owned up to the crime and said, “She lived in the makeshift sheds to which I was supplying water. A couple of times, I had spoken to her while supplying water.” He had followed her when she was returning to her shed in the afternoon and, on finding that she was alone, sexually assaulted her.” The accused then strangled her and threw a stone on her face to destroy evidence.
Police carried investigation, reviewed CCTV Footage of the neighbourhood and nabbed the accused.

In another incident, a case of gang-rape came to light from Mandy district of Karnataka. An eight-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three men on premises of a government school. The incident took place on Friday, January 31. The assault came to notice when the girl experienced severe stomach pain and bleeding. She later confined in her mother about the incident. The complaint was filed at the central police station in Mandya on Sunday.

Mandya superintendent of police (SP) Mallikarjun Baladandi stated that FIR has been registered against three unidentified men under relevant sections of the BNS and POCSO Act. SP quoted girl’s statement who revealed that three unknown men had lured her from a playground, near her home. They lured her by offering chocolates and took her to the government school premises. They gang-raped the girl there. However, police confirmed that the girl was not the student of the school, where incident took place.
