Relief From Heat As Temperature Dips, IMD Predicts Strong Winds; Check Forecast For Next Week News24 –


Delhi Weather Update: Delhi residents experienced a little relief on Saturday as the mercury dipped below seasonal average. A maximum temperature of 29.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Delhi on 29th March. This fall in temperature provided major respite to Delhiites who were experiencing rising temperature from past few weeks. The maximum temperature soared to 38 degrees Celsius on March 27 and even touched 40 degrees in some parts of the national capital. Ridge in Delhi recorded a temperature of 40.1°C on Wednesday (March 27), marking a departure of 6.3°C from the normal range.

The maximum and minimum temperatures were in the range of 36 to 38°C last week. However, there has now been a fall in maximum temperature due to the strong surface winds. Here’s a look at how the weather will be on Sunday and upcoming week. IMD in its bulletin, stated that there has been markedly fall in minimum temperatures and appreciable fall in maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours.

Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For Sunday, March 30

For Sunday, 30 March, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy with maximum humidity level of 34 % percent. Strong surface winds at speed of 10-20 km/h will prevail during the day. The IMD has not issued any warning regarding the heat wave conditions in Delhi.

Delhi Weather Update: Forecast For Next Week

This is the weather update for Sunday, let’s see what’s in store for the coming week (31 March- 6 April).

The IMD has predicted maximum temperature to remain in range of 32 to 36°C from March 31 to April 2. From 3rd April, it is expected in range of 37 to 38°C. Strong surface winds is predicted until 1 April. Mainly clear sky has been forecasted on 31st March and 1st April, whereas partly cloudy sky has been predicted on 2nd April.
