Delhi Weather Update: Delhi residents experienced relief from scorching heat on Thursday after facing intense heat for a week. Light rain accompanied with thunderstorm lashed the national capital, turning the weather pleasant. Although dust storm and gusty winds caused minor inconvenience, the weather overall was good. The sudden change in the weather has been attributed to western disturbance along with lower circulation features. This relief came after Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius last week. The capital experienced season’s first heatwave, which lasted for three days. While temperatures were expected to rise further, the weather change impacted by Western Disturbance has provided much-needed relief to residents.
