Bengaluru Travel Alert! Advisory Issued As City Reels Under Heavy Rains; Check Waterlogged Roads And Slow Traffic Routes News24 –


Bengaluru: Bengaluru has been reeling under incessant heavy rain over the past few days, leading to traffic disruptions and severe waterlogging. The situation has turned dire in different parts of the city, including major roads such as Yelahanka, Hebbal, and Koramangala. The city’s drainage system is struggling to cope with the heavy volume of rainwater. Amid the waterlogging, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory, effective from Monday, until normalcy is restored.

Commuters are urged to avoid the following roads and routes: Road from Garvebhavi palya, Balagere T cross towards Panthur RUB, Balagere T cross towards Vibgyor school road, etc. Additionally, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has urged people to exercise extreme caution while driving.

Slow-moving traffic due to waterlogging has been reported in the following areas:

  1. Kogilu village towards yalahanka
  2. Silk board down ramp roopena agrahara
  3. Medahalli towards Sannenahalli
  4. Panatturu towards kadubeesanahalli
  5. Geddalahalli railway bridge towards Vaddarapalya
  6. Tin factory towards Vijana pura railway under bridge
  7. H.B.R Layout 17th main towards 18th main
  8. Wipro junction Koramangala to Maharaja junction
  9. Bhashyam circle towards Cavery junction
  10. Allasandra towards yelahanka circle
  11. Kasturi nagara 2nd main road toward Sadananda bridge
  12. CB road towards ASC
  13. R M Nagar towards chikka banasawadi
